Last Friday, the group has decided to check out one of the nearest parks around our school - Ang Mo Kio Town Garden - to see how are the trees located there. So let us take you on a journey by reading this blogpost filled with photos.

Lotus flower

One main attraction of the park is its pond which is filled, not with fishes, but with lotus flowers and lotus pads. But as far as we know, lotuses grow in seasons, so I guessed that it wasn't the lotus season from the below photo.

So we walked past the pond, enjoying the songs of crickets. We kept walking until we saw another attraction of the park, the huge staircase. This staircase was like a staircase going up 6 storeys.

Being courageous and adventurous, we decided to hike up the flight of stairs and and have the experience of looking down from a high level. Alas, we made it up to the rest point of the somewhat feels like millions of steps.

The view from the top!

After stopping for a breather at the rest point, we decided to go down a slope, a very narrow slope that seems quite dark and scary.

We mustered our courage and we held on to each other tightly and we walked through the narrow path. Thank GOD we made it through!

It was a nice route, which lasted for a minute or two. Then we reached the end of it.

Then we walked down a route down the hill. We saw quite a couple of strange trees.

A tree which braches are very straight.

A tree with white leaves. This is creepy. O_O.

A tree with balls growing on its bark.

A tree with 'spiky hair'>

Alas, our adventure chapter came to another close. It was an interesting journey, an interesting journey indeed. It sure made all of us closer together.

Till our next adventure,
